Carmen & Me is an independent Australian Boutique that aims to highlight the amazing local designers that are at the forefront of our fashion industry. Our curated selection of established and emerging Australian designers, have all been handpicked to allow you to be the best version of yourself. By providing a one-stop shop for all your fashion needs, we aim to provide you with a seamless shopping experience, whilst providing you with the wardrobe staples that every girl needs!
Where It Began
Carmen & Me was established in Melbourne in 2021, by Mariah Spiteri. Growing up in Victoria, Mariah spent a lot of her early life side-by-side with her adoring grandmother – Carmen Buttigieg. Carmen was known for her generous spirit and love for fashion. She was a single mother, a grandmother, a sister and a friend, who loved to pave her own way and create her own style. When Mariah was a child, her grandmother would hand sew them matching outfits, which are fond memories that will always be treasured. Carmen’s heart of gold, and a passion for giving back to others, will never be forgotten, and continues to live on through Carmen & Me.
This boutique was founded in loving memory of Carmen Connie Buttigieg 18/06/2010. A style icon, a caring soul and a loving grandmother.

Our Social Presence
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and gather, at our Head Office in Naarm, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the rich and diverse stories, cultures and traditions of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who live and work on this land.

How does Carmen & Me practice sustainability?
- We purchase our stock in small orders to reduce waste
- Our postage bags and packaging materials are all 100% recyclable.
- Our curated selection of designers, all produce high-quality pieces, which offer an extended lifespan for each garment. Through our social media and digital platforms, we aim to show our customers the different ways that our pieces can be styled, to ensure they are worn time and time again.
- We frequently educate our customers and followers on social media about the importance of preserving our environment, and the different ways they can help the fashion industry (i.e how to recycle your pre-loved clothes).
Whilst we aim to be the most sustainable and ethical versions of ourselves, we acknowledge that our commitment is an ongoing process. As a business, we are constantly striving to do better, for our industry and our customers, and as time goes by, we will continue to learn new ways to promote sustainability.
